Access Consultants was developed by a team of individuals who have grown together working within the Health
and Social Services fields. We decided to harness our collective skill sets, creativity, quirks and excessive
energy to create a business model focused on all of the areas that drive our passions.

We work closely with you to plan, secure funding, and make sure your projects succeed. We also offer virtual meetings, so we can support you wherever you are. Our goal is to help your organization grow and thrive.
Jen Whaley is currently a Consultant/Service Director in addition to managing a rehab team in eastern Ontario. Jen has over 20 years experience working with vulnerable populations in the public sector, specifically individuals with ABI and mental health, assisting to navigate homelessness, poverty, and overseeing a program for supported independent living and more . Since getting started working in the private sector of ABI, she also supervises a team and provides leader ship/mentoring to rehab therapists. Outside of work, you can usually find her with her kids and dog outdoors on some kind of camping, biking, or winter adventure. Wanting to keep her roots in the nonprofit sector, Jen has had the fortune of working with agencies across Ontario to implement much needed programming for individuals and agencie
Koulla began her career working to nurture the next generation as an Early Childhood Educator in the public and private sectors. It was this work that influenced a career shift to support those with communication and language disorders, and she retrained as a Communicative Disorders Assistant. The past 10 years has afforded her a wealth of knowledge and experience within the areas of acquired brain injury/mental health and developmental disorders. This time has also involved working as an intrical partner supporting persons with ABI in the private sector. When she is not consulting or working rehab, you can find her engaged in a variety of experiences from mixed martial art workout, watercolour painting, pencil or digital sketching, reading, crochet or watching movies cuddled up with my kids, hubby and family dog.
Jeff Chartier has a Bachelor of Arts from Trent University and has been working in the social services field for the past 20 years. Jeff has a diverse employment history with experience in brain injury, adult literacy, corrections, youth services, and rehabilitation. He began developing and operating projects for not for profit organizations in 2008. To date he has been a builder of over 20 projects across Ontario on diverse topics including income support, homelessness, financial abuse and exploitation, legal services, victims of violence, virtual services, and financial resiliency.
